Busy Travel Day For Lulu Blythe

Hello Friends!
I must confess, I am so new to this all-day-traveling business that I really didn't know what to expect. Next time I will definitely pack more energy drinks!
At this point, the adrenalin rush I'm experiencing is what's keeping me awake, but I am certain that when my head sinks into the pillow tonight, I am going to slumber like a baby!
But, Oh my goodness, what an adventure! And I am so glad you are here to share it with me! Life is so much more fun when you can share memorable moments with friends.
A special thanks to Virgin American and Qatar Airlines for getting me to Africa safely. Whew!
I'm too tired to write much, but I will say that my travel companion, Karen, was such a blast. We talked and talked, watched people, met new friends, and laughed... a lot! You'd be surprised at how corny my sense of humor gets when I am tired. (It's just something you'll have to take my word for.)
And luckily, Karen was nice enough to get pictures to document the day for all of you. Cell phones are so fab!
